Dr. Richard C. Buck, OD, PC
One of our finest professional community members, Dr. Richard C. Buck, has been dedicated to providing quality family eye care as an optometrist in Memphis since 1976. As the founder of Master Eye Associates, Dr. Buck now has three locations in Memphis. Centennial Commons on 7706 Winchester Road, in the Oak Court Mall and in the WolfChase Mall. He offers a truly unique optometric concept by providing eye care services seven days a week. His friendly, honest and forthright manner of dealing with people from all walks of life has made Dr. Buck a leader in his field.
Dr. Buck was carefully selected by the Executives and the Professional Affairs Committee of EyeMasters Corporate Offices to become their affiliated optometrist because of his experience, personality and reputation in the Memphis area.
The doctor and his staff offer complete, advanced vision care. They see the value and need for annual eye examinations to determine and maintain normal healthy vision. Dr. Buck and his associates are highly skilled in determining a patient’s visual needs and detecting health abnormalities such as glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration. He also features a large inventory of quality contact lenses for same-day dispensing of trial lenses in many cases. He regularly fits patients for nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and bifocals.
He is noted for fitting patients with lenses who have previously been told that they could not wear lenses.

Dr. Alan E. Pressman – at our Winchester location.
Dr. A.E. Pressman has over fifty years experience in the practice of optometry. A graduate of the University of North Carolina and Southern College of Optometry, he has been involved in primary care optometry in Memphis and Chattanooga, Tenn.
The scope of his practice includes contact lens fittings covering a wide range of lenses. These range from conventional daily wear contact lenses to disposable contact lenses, soft toric lenses for those patients with higher amounts of astigmatism, and soft bifocal contact lenses, as well as rigid gas permeable contact lenses both single vision and bifocal. He is certified to prescribe glasses, contacts and medications for ocular diseases.
Dr. Pressman is dedicated to providing the highest standards of professional eye care service as an optometrist, to the whole family, from pediatric to geriatric, using the latest equipment and advanced technology. Dr. Pressman was selected for our practice because of his experience, his expertise, his reputation and his great personality. Our patients just love him.
Dr. Jennifer Jones – at our Wolfchase location
Dr. Jennifer Jones graduated from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Biology. She then received her doctorate from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. She started her own private practice as an optometrist in Colorado, and then moved on as the Center Director of Optometry at a LASIK center in Denver. She has also practiced optometry in Utah and California but decided to relocate back to Memphis to be near family and near her southern roots. At Master Eye Associates, she focuses her attention on routine eye health care, glasses and contact lens fittings, and LASIK peri-operative care.
Dr. Courtney Kessler – at our Oak Court location
Dr. Kessler graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in biology. She then received her doctorate from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis.
As an optometrist, her scope of practice includes basic eye exams with contact lens fittings and more extensive examinations dealing with diseases of the anterior and posterior portions of the eye. She has worked with patients as young as six months of age up to geriatrics. Dr. Kessler currently resides in Piperton with her husband, Brad and son, Charlie.
